GCEF had tables setup for students to create Christmas ornaments. High School students assisted them if they had any problems.
The following students were each awarded $1,000 scholarships from GCEF on May 21, 2024. James Valadez, Chairman of the Grape Creek Education Foundation presented the scholarships.
The Katie Franklin scholarship was awarded to Colbey Wallace. The Carel Gotcher scholarshop was given to Estrella Trujillo. The Ed Gonzales scholarship was presented to Hailey Hyatt.
The Dwain Childress scholarship was given to Hudson Felts. The Step Up scholarship was awarded to Radall Jared Flint. Another Step Up scholarship was given to Shalyn Crimm.
Congratulations to these graduating 2024 seniors of Grape Creek High School.
On February 13, 2024 the Grape Creek ISD School Board presented the Grape Creek Education Foundation with a Certificate of Recognition for the support the district and community.
Maci Valadez is a 2022 Grape Creek Education Foundation scholarship winner studying Marine biology at Texas A & M-Galveston. Maci is now a junior in her college studies. Maci qualified for an internship at SeaWorld for 2 weeks in January of 2024. These are some pictures from her internship adventure.
GCEF sponsored a booth at the Christmas On The Creek event Saturday December 16, 2023.
We provided supplies for children and their parents to make Christmas ornaments.

Landon Crow - Carel Gotcher Memorial Scholarship
Maci Valadez - Ed Gonzales Memorial Scholarship
The San Angelo Rotary Club gave Jesus Campos a $6,000 scholarship and the San Angelo Area Foundation presented Benjamin Mendoza with $500.
